A Dental Marketing Agency Built Around Websites and SEO
Most practices do not need more ad spend. They need a site that converts the visitors they already get, and search visibility that keeps working after the budget stops. That is the order we build in.

What We Do, In The Order We Do It
These are not four products to pick from. They are one sequence, and running them out of order is the most common reason dental marketing money gets wasted.
Local SEO
Show up when someone in your area searches for a dentist. Google Business Profile, local citations, treatment pages, and the technical structure search engines need.
Website Design
A fast, custom, mobile-first site built to turn visitors into booked appointments. No template builders, and the site is yours to keep.
Google Ads
Optional, and only once your site and tracking can convert the traffic. Flat management fee, ad spend at cost, and the account stays in your name.
Tracking & Reporting
Call and form tracking so you can see which channels actually produce booked patients, not just traffic. Included with every engagement.
Six Things Worth Checking Before You Hire Anyone
Ask every agency on your shortlist about these. The answers tend to be more revealing than the portfolio.
Dental only
We work exclusively with dental practices, so we are not learning your market on your budget.
Founder-led
You work directly with Abed Ismail, the founder, rather than being handed to a rotating account coordinator.
You own everything
The website, the content, the domain, and the ad accounts stay in your name. If you leave, you take them with you.
No ad-spend markup
Where many agencies bill a percentage of your ad budget, we charge a flat management fee. Your ad spend goes to Google, at cost.
Month-to-month
Marketing retainers run month-to-month. We would rather keep your business by earning it than by locking it in.
Websites and SEO first
Paid ads are layered in when they fit your market, not sold as the default. Traffic to a site that cannot convert is wasted money.
Who This Is, And Is Not, Built For
We would rather say this on a web page than three weeks into a project.
A good fit
- Owner-operated practices that want to speak with the person doing the work
- Practices whose current site is slow, dated, or cannot be updated without calling a vendor
- New, relocating, or newly acquired practices that need a foundation built properly
- Specialists who depend on both patient search and referring-dentist credibility
Probably not a fit
- Anyone who wants ads switched on this week regardless of whether the website can convert
- Practices looking for the lowest-cost template site, where a rented page builder is genuinely the better buy
- Anyone expecting guaranteed rankings or a promised number of new patients, which nobody can honestly offer

What does a dental marketing agency actually do?
At minimum it should make your practice findable when someone searches for a dentist nearby, give that person a website that answers their questions and makes booking easy, and then measure which channels produced real appointments. Everything else, including paid ads and social, is layered on top of that foundation. An agency that starts with ad spend before the website and tracking are ready is selling you traffic, not patients.
How much does a dental marketing agency cost?
Ours is published rather than quoted privately. A custom website starts at $950 one-time through Aug 15 (regularly $1,990), the Growth Website is $4,997, and ongoing marketing runs $497, $997, or $1,997 per month depending on scope. A paid $297 Website Diagnostic is available first if you want a detailed review before committing, and it is credited toward a build within 14 days. Industry-wide, dental practices commonly spend in the range of 5 to 10 percent of collections on marketing.
How do I choose between dental marketing companies?
Ask three things. Who owns the website, content, domain, and ad accounts when the relationship ends. Whether the fee is flat or a percentage of your ad spend. And whether you will speak with the person doing the work. Those three answers separate most agencies faster than any portfolio does. We have written a longer guide on this, linked above, and it does not conclude that you should hire us.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Marketing retainers are month-to-month. Website builds are a fixed, capped scope agreed in writing before work starts, with a deposit, because that protects both sides.
Who owns the website and the ad accounts?
You do. The site, its content, the domain, and any advertising accounts are created in your name and stay with you. This is deliberate, and it is the single most common thing practices discover too late with other providers.
How long does it take to see results?
A website build typically runs three to five weeks depending on page count and how quickly content is approved. Organic SEO is slower and depends on your market, your competition, and the authority of your domain, so it is usually measured over months rather than weeks. We will not promise a ranking position or a number of new patients, because those depend on factors no agency controls.
Do you only work with practices in Calgary?
No. Dentx is based in Calgary and works with practices across Canada and the United States. There is one office, and it is here, so any agency claiming a local branch in your city is worth a second look.
Talk To The Person Who Would Do The Work
Fifteen minutes, no pitch deck. We will look at your website, your search visibility, and one local competitor, and tell you what we would fix first, even if that turns out not to be us.
